I arrived at Brides parents house and hair and Make-up where already underway. Bride Rachel was showing little to no nerves as she laughed and smiled and told me she felt fine 'So far.' The little details I had asked her for had already been left out so I began to sort them on a lovely dark green table in their conservatory. I love capturing these little details that when our couples look back in 20 years they may not remember.
When Rachel parents arrived it was lovely to spend some time chatting with them, I went over with them the shots that I was planning on doing with them. Then it was time to help the brides and bridesmaids make a tiktok that they had been planning, which actually turned out really fun. Mum then helped Rachel into her dress with her sister and it was beautiful to see the connection these 3 have. The love just bounces off the photograph. Â
Rachels dress was stunning and so unique, I have never seen a dress like it before. It suited her personality and style so well. I was blown away by how beautiful she looked and could wait to get dads first look on camera.
Then we moved outside for some family and bridal party shots before I went to chapel to get the Groom and Groomsmen pictures. Â
When I arrived at the chapel I found the Groom and Groomsmen struggling with their button holes, after a bit of playing around we got them all attached. "Surely they should make these easier to put on" we did some shots outside and inside them chapel in Eglish then I met the Bridal party arriving outside.
The ceremony was beautiful and their guests were delighted for them. After the service we headed to Horseshoe house (her grandmothers) and then for some beautiful shots on the water.
Arriving at Corrick house, our couple are so happy and relaxed. We decide to spend 10 mins around the grounds before they are seen and claimed by their guest. Corrick house is a stunning venue, the outside photo opportunities are varied, but an easy walking distance for a bride in heels. Â
Connor and Rachel then spent some time with their guests before they were called for the meal. I went to the room where staff had set up the most beautiful tables for the couple and their guests. I photographed the details that Rachel and Connor had chosen. Then guests were called in for their meal. Speeches were funny (though with our groom that was never in doubt) After the meal there was a surprise for the guests with a fun singing waiter, who had everyone twirling their napkins by the end. Then the party started with the first dance. Â
All in all, Rachel and Connors day was fantastic They were a beautiful couple and their love was so easily seen by everyone. They smiled and laughed all day, I honestly had such a fun time with them and their families and friends.
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Little. Here's to your happy life together. Â
